{ Mantra & Kirtan }

Mantra are powerful tools to direct the energy of the mind towards something positive. Traditional Mantra are in Sanskrit and can have different intentions and purposes. The harmonium is an instrument often used to accompany Mantra and Kirtan.

Kirtan is the wonderful practice of singing Mantra together. Each part of the Mantra is sung by the Kirtan leader and repeated by the audience. In this way, it is a collaborative experience. Different instruments can be used to lead and percussion can accompany a Kirtan. Both, Mantra & Kirtan have their roots in the Bhakti Yoga tradition.
