Hatha Yoga

Since 2019 I have been involved on Yoga Teacher Training courses. I love working with committed students who embark on their journey of personal transformation.

I am part of the faculty of Kawai Purapura Yoga School. Together with a small team of passionate teachers, I guide you through the 200 hour Yoga Teacher training in Hatha Yoga. Practices from other traditional branches of Yoga make this training holistic.

Student testimonial

“I need to say a huge thank you to you. Last weekend was incredibly difficult for me, and your caring, support was what helped me through. There was one point where I felt like I just wouldn’t be able to do it. Your words and advice made me feel like you understood, and you cared, and I think I needed to know that at that time.

Norina, you have a peace, a kindness, a beauty that emanates from you that nobody would be able to deny. I thank you from the depth of my being, for pulling us through to the completion of the course.”

Yoga Nidra

Explore the Yoga Nidra meditation technique in depth. Learn how to instruct a high quality Yoga Nidra to benefit others. I have been teaching Yoga Nidra for years and am amazed by the technique and its direct benefits, especially for mental health.

Swami Karma Karuna guides through this course. I will be supporting students during the homework component and be one of the teachers on the course.

Reference from Senior Trainer

“Norina Merkabah has been an outstanding student, absorbing Yoga practices deeply and immersing herself into a Yogic lifestyle at Kawai Purapura Retreat Centre from 2018 onwards when I first met her.
It became clear that Norina is a natural and talented Trainer, speaking freely in front of the group and from a place of embodied understanding.

When it comes to her teaching, she stands out by being attuned to her students’ process, by guiding by example, by being gentle yet clear in her teaching and standards.

On the 200 hour Yoga Teacher training programme, she soon became a much valued faculty member, contributing not only through well delivered and motivating sessions with the students but also through her dedicated personality, holding many aspects of the training together.

Norina lives her Yoga with integrity and authenticity. I recommend her whole-heartedly.”
